Good

Avoid if: you finish most points with big smashes from the left side: a diamond suits that better.
Choosing at advanced level
Your side decides the shape
Left-side players finish more points overhead, so a diamond's high sweet spot and head-heavy balance pays off. Right-side players hit more volleys and lobs, where a teardrop or hybrid is easier to place.
Core: medium to hard
Harder cores turn a fast swing into ball speed but give less help on slow shots and pass more vibration to the arm. If you play four or more times a week, factor in comfort.
Tune it
Weight in the head adds power and costs speed at the net. A strip of lead tape or an adjustable weight system lets you set the balance to suit you.
Compare any two rackets on the racket stats page before you buy.
